Bossiney

Bossiney site, right on the edge of historical Tintagel welcomed 18 units along with some glorious sunny weather for an extended 5 day jolly.

The new owners have been making a few improvements & provided a couple of porta loos- they are what they are, but clean & lots of loo roll.

It was great to see some more new faces coming out to enjoy a BCC meet.

With great weather forecast a few treats were laid on… Ian fired up the grill for bacon rolls on Friday. A couple of sentries were posted to deter the infamous ‘bacon thief’! But he does move with great stealth.

Sue’s Savoury Snacks graced the event too and judging by the empty plates, they were a bit of a hit.

Saturday we enjoyed a hot Cornish Maid Pasty & glass of Cider.

A treasure hunt in Tintagel was also organised with Mel and Steve emerging as the most eagle eyed. The Mel H super Cornish quiz saw three teams draw for first place.

Tom was sporting his new favourite Tee shirt.

Two of our ladies found a baby hedgehog out in the day. Very hungry & thirsty so they fed him some of Mr Gray's - the caravanning cat with attitude  cat food & provided water.

They decided to name him after the football player who scored the first goal in the England match. Gordon it is then.

After a good sleep & more food he wandered off. Unfortunately two days later Gordon appeared again in a similar state. Mr Gray's supplies came into play again & duly fed & watered was made comfy in a nice cozy box to sleep it off.

After several phone calls for help it was decided the only thing to do was to take Gordon home across the border & find a  rescue centre. Gordon lives to fight another day. Well done ladies.

The BCC rolls on to Marazion TP. See you there
