Trewan Hall and Teds.

Our second weekend rally without electric took place at Trewan Hall, St Columb Major near Newquay.

16 units joined the fun on an absolutely scorching weekend. The swimming pool was a huge attraction where we had the chance to cool down.

The rest of the time we all played ‘chasing shade’ as we moved around our vans to stay out of the searing heat.

Pip the Whippet got the meet off to a good start by stealing another campers dinner… well.. sausage.. so now we have a sausage thief in the group! As if it’s not hard enough keeping ravenous seagulls at bay!! Oh, and a bacon thief who we’d best not forget to mention………

Ian and Claire hosted a Teddy Bears Picnic on Saturday afternoon which was well attended. Our bakers and sandwich makers excelled yet again.. thank you!

We were invited to bring teddies along to take part. Sadly Sue and Dennis forgot theirs so Sue drew a picture of one.. she said Dennis wasn’t the model but we were not sure :-)

One thing to remember campers, Rooster says ‘it’s only ever borrowed’.
