Churchtown Farm THS

We decided, just for a change, to set up a roost at the Churchtown Farm THS. From the lofty perch in our new build hen house, we can just see the sea.

With easy access to Gwithian beach, this well managed site has hosted a THS for many a year.

New stewards, Mark, Emma, Steve and Mel, have their hands full with the THS pretty was much fully booked. However as with all our meets and THS sites, contact the stewards to see if there’s any availability.

The weather hasn’t been very helpful with a fair bit of rain and wind, not that this has dampened anyone’s spirits.

The huge sandy beach, with a couple of cafes, gives you a great chance to enjoy a seaside walk or exercise your dog if you have one. Ours certainly enjoys chasing wildly about. If you do take your dog to the beach, do remember to ‘pick up’.

The local area is well known for Adders so do keep your dog on a lead as bites can prove fatal to dogs.

Hayle, Camborne, Redruth, St Ives, Penzance are all close by should you wish to go exploring along with some extensive coastal walks.

Attending a THS is a great way to get an extended stay at a great site.

Please keep dogs on leads at ALL times except in designated areas.
