Dove Meadows
Apologies for a late report but I’ve been roosting while Mrs Rooster has been doing only things a chicken does.
20+ units arrived for the clubs first 5 day meet of the season at this popular venue.
The site is close to the beach and St Michael’s Mount, where, if you’re a National Trust member, you can enter for free. It’s a nice place to while away a couple of hours.
There’s dog walking and it’s a twitchers paradise with a bird sanctuary.. rumours have it that there was a migratory kingfisher :)
The weather was a mixed bag but it did allow us to have a nice tea and cake get together.
Thanks to our bake off championship winners who made some lovely cakes, especially the Sinking Fruit Cake by Mel. More please.
We all had a great time!
