Heligan

With wonderful views overlooking the fields and sea close to Mevagissey, Heligan remains a popular site with the Cornwall BCC.

If you’re up to a good cardio workout you can walk to Mevagissey and back. For many of us it’s a walk down and a bus back. Just don’t miss ‘IT.’

The chilly and windy conditions persisted like a Sunday morning hangover but luckily Putsy was in a sheltered enough pitch to allow us to have more tea and biscuits on Saturday afternoon. We also welcomed a couple of new emmets, sorry, members!! Welcome folks!

If you’re new to camping with us but are not BCC members, membership forms are always available … it’s only £6 to join for the year…. You know it makes sense and we look forward to meeting new folks.

A suggestion box made its inaugural appearance so at future meets, if you’ve anything to suggest to the Committee, pop it in the box.
