Tollgate Farm THS

Rooster and Paparazzi decided we would extend our weekend and stop for a few days at Tollgate Farm THS just atop Perranporth. All members are encouraged to spend time at a THS or two.

For members who don’t know, a THS is a Temporary Holiday Site that usually runs from 7 days to three weeks, where you can stay on a campsite paying less than you would if you booked directly with the campsite itself.

A portion of those fees pay for our subsidised weekend camping.

Support your club!

As a BCC member you can contribute towards the cheap camping by stewarding a weekend meet or a THS. Contact the committee if you’d like to put something back into the club. No THS stewards… no cheap camping! ALL stewards are volunteers.. not skivvies or verbal punchbags!

Our stewards, Chris, Sue, Mel and Steve are looking after all of the campers here, laying on tea every day and running tombola, bingo and book sales. They’re on hand to deal with any enquiries campers have. They have done a fantastic job. Do give your stewards a ‘thank you’ when you leave.. they’ve given their free time so you can have a nice holiday!

At Tollgate there’s extensive dog walking across the road in the towans and there’s a small dog walking on site. Always pick up after your dog!

A bus stops just outside the camp entrance so you can get to Newquay, Truro or just Perranporth. Perranporth has a large CoOp store if you need provisions. A large sandy beach awaits and there’s lots of little shops to browse around with REAL ice cream available too.
