Trewince Farm

Nestled in the village of St. Issey, on the way to Padstow, is the charming site of Trewince Farm.

The spacious pitches, many fully serviced, are a delight and almost level to boot so this is a wonderful place to spend a weekend.

The site has some excellent dog walks for our poochy friends, if you can walk that far! Large fields mean they can run themselves to their hearts content.

Big Buf and Mrs Big Buf were our erstwhile hosts ably assisted by their two centurions, Yogi and Boo Boo. So thanks to them although Mr Buf did his impression of a billygoat by head butting his cars boot lid. Ouch!

Some of our members had probably been to a car boot sale during the week.. the same one by the looks of it, as a few were flying the same ‘flag’.. a green flag with a white cross on it. They did battle with the proper flags.. the black ones with a white cross. And the winners were….. the green ones. The black and white flag group must do better!

The weather held enough for our now customary club tea and cake get together.

Sundays weather looked pretty gloomy and many of us packed fairly early to beat what looked like a heavy squall coming in. Packing away in the dry is so nice.

There’s not much else to report but Rooster always has his eyes and ears open.

Cockadoodledo!
